About Our School

Lucas Crossing Middle School is centrally located in Normandy, adjacent to the Normandy Early Learning Center, and next to the University of Missouri-St. Louis. The school was built in 2004 and sits on the site of the historic Lucas-Hunt home, which was also the former Normandy School District administration building.

The mission at Lucas Crossing is to create an environment where parents want to send their children, students want to learn, teachers want to teach, and employees want to work. Lucas Crossing aims to foster a sense of community in which every individual is respected and encouraged to realize their full potential in the areas of academic achievement, character, work ethic, and citizenship
